  • About HMA
HAL Management Academy (HMA) established in 1969, celebrated its Golden Jubilee in the year 2019. HMA, the Learning & Development Centre of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has been contributing in the field of Aerospace Technology & Management and had received approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for its 15 month full time Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Aviation Management (PGDAM) programme in the year 2018.  First Batch is passed out on 13 Feb. 2020 and second batch is in progress.  Third batch is planned to be started in September 2020.

HMA has taken additional approval from AICTE to run 24 month full time Post Graduate Diploma in Aviation Management and Post Graduate Diploma in Production Management in the year 2020.  The courses are planned to be started in September 2020.

People development initiatives take a strategic role for driving business results.  In this direction, a wide variety of training programs are conducted by HMA for executives from entry level to the senior most level in the organization to develop functional, operational, technical, and managerial and leadership competencies.

As an Aeronautical giant and as one of the largest Aeronautical Complexes in Asia with 21 Production Divisions and 10 R&D Centres, HAL has a wealth of knowledge and experiential learning in the field of Aerospace Technology and Management.  Utilizing this knowledge pool and faculty with industry experience, HMA has emerged as a Centre for Aerospace Technology and Management.

The Indian Aerospace Sector is ready for rapid growth, both in Military and Civil Domain.  In view of the requirement of large number of trained manpower in Aerospace domain, HMA has designed specific courses blending the rich experience and domain knowledge in the field of Aviation Technology, Production Technology & Management with Industry exposure to provide holistic learning opportunities.

HMA has state-of-the-art classrooms, breakaway rooms, computer labs and library. In addition, the campus houses the hostel accommodation, 800 seat auditorium, sports block with indoor & outdoor games facility, gymnasium, swimming pool etc. HMA provides residential learning opportunities for Executives, Professionals, Students and Trainees.

  • Programmes for Engineering Colleges: 
    Elective Subject for Engineering Students: HMA has designed elective subjects for Mechanical, Electrical and Aerospace streams for final Semester. HMA can develop elective subjects based on the specific requirement of engineering colleges.  Interested Engineering colleges may contact:
