Shri Jayakrishnan S has taken over as the Chief Executive Officer of (Bangalore Complex) on 1st July 2024. Prior to it, he served as General Manager of Aircraft, IJT (Intermediate Jet Trainer) and ASC (Airport Services Centre) Divisions at HAL.

He started his career in HAL as a Management Trainee in the year 1989, after completing his B. Tech in Production Engineering from TKM College of Engineering, University of Kerala, India.

A professional having an Extensive experience in Aerospace & Defence Industry for 35 years, worked in various functions viz., Production Engineering, IT, Supply Chain, Aircraft Assembly, Customer Services, Project Management, Marketing and Business development.

Shri. Jayakrishnan S has made valuable contributions in Production of Hawk Mk 132 Advanced Jet Trainer production by leading the assembly for the batch II of the Hawk program and successfully delivered all Hawks for the Indian Air Force & Navy. He led the team of Aircraft Division for establishment of 2nd LCA production line. Under his leadership first LCA Mk 1A was produced.

He has also served as Chairman of Joint Venture Safran-HAL Aircraft Engines Private Limited and held the position as Nominee Director of Aerospace and Aviation Sector Skill Council.
